Security Procedures
We are honored that you have entrusted your children to our care and guidance while you are at IBC. In order to make sure that your children are as safe as possible, we have established several child protection policies.
Check-in/Check-out Procedure
Each time you bring a child to Bible Fellowship or Worship, you need to stop by one of our child check-in stations. On your first visit, please visit our children's check-in desk is located immediately to the right as you enter through the front doors. They will take down some important info about your family, including numbers to call in an emergency and any allergies/special needs you may want relayed to your child's teachers. We also have 2 self-service kiosks located in the front entryway for quicker check-in for busy parents. At any of these 3 locations you will receive a name tag using a numbered code for your child and a matching pick-up tag with the same code for you to keep. The name tag will be placed on your child’s back so it is easily visible and cannot be easily removed by the child. When you are ready to pick-up your child, present your pick-up tag to your child’s teacher. The teacher will check to see that the tags match and then your child will be released to you. If you are unable to pick up your child yourself, you may give your tag to another adult who will pick up your child for you. Persons without tags will not be allowed to pick up a child. We also do not release children to persons younger than 16 years of age. If you lose your pick-up tag, report to the Check-In Desk or Children’s Pastor to establish proof of identity.
Teacher Training
We provide ongoing training for all of our children’s workers in child safety and child abuse prevention and awareness. All of our children’s workers are required to undergo a background check. Our First Floor coordinators and many of our children’s workers are CPR certified.
Room Security
Our First Floor rooms and all hallways/stairwells are equipped with security cameras. Parents may check on their child without going to the room by viewing the camera screens located at the Children's Check-In Desk.
Childcare Ministry
Childcare is provided at some church events that take place outside of normal Sunday morning, Sunday evening and Wednesday night times.
Childcare will be advertised in advance and reservations are strongly suggested. To make childcare reservations, please contact the children’s ministry office at 479-636-1230.

Childcare Guidelines
Childcare is provided only for Church functions. Parents must attend the Church event and stay on campus while their child is in childcare. This policy includes Sunday and Wednesday nights.
Children will be received in rooms 15 minutes prior to an event and should be picked up as soon as possible after the event is over.
